Ã(DELICATES)

Main wash cycle for Delicates at 30 °C or 40°C.

s (WOOL)/Ñ (SILK) P (Handwash)

Main wash cycle (cold or 30 °C) for machine-washable or hand-washa- ble woollen items and silk, carrying the symbol ï(Handwash).

u (GENTLE RINSE)

Separate gentle rinse, for example to rinse hand-washed items

(3 rinses, liquid conditioner washed in from æcompartment, spin).

v(DRAIN)

Draining of the water after one rinse hold (without spinning).

3 The effect of o(Rinse Hold) is that the washing is left to soak in the last rinse water, without spinning.

K(SPIN)

Draining of the water after Rinse Hold and Spin, or separate Spin for hand-washed Cottons/Linen.

ECO (ENERGY SAVING)

Energy and water saving wash at approx. 60 °C for lightly to normally soiled Cottons/Coloureds (cottons/linen) with an extended wash time (cannot be combined with the ]/QUICK option).

Programme Option Buttons

The programme option buttons are used to adapt the programme to suit the degree of soiling of the wash. The programme options are not needed for normally soiled washing.

The different functions can be combined together, depending on the programme.

k(PRE-WASH)

Warm pre-wash before the main wash, which fol- lows automatically; intermediate spin in the t(COTTONS/LINEN) and }(EASY CARES) pro- gramme; no intermediate spin in the à (DELICATES) programme.

ä(STAIN)

For heavily soiled or stained washing. In-wash stain treatment products are washed in at the optimum time as the programme progresses.

Can only be selected with wash temperatures of 40 °C and above, as stain treatment products are only effective at higher temperatures.
