Getting Started on a Windows 98 System
The instructions on the next few pages explain how to connect the USB/ Parallel Adapter cable to your Windows 98 system and how to install the printer software. If you’re connecting to an EPSON Stylus COLOR 600 printer, you’ll also find instructions on how to set up your system to use Windows Print Manager.
For instructions on using the printer software, see the documentation that came with your printer.
IMPORTANT:
You can’t use the adapter with the printer driver software that came with your printer. You must use the printer software that came on the USB Printer Software
However, you can use the USB printer software to connect the printer to your computer via the parallel port, if you want.
