EPSON SETTING POS STANDARDS

UNIFIED POS RELATED DRIVERS

Uniﬁ ed POS combines two existing device interface standards (OPOS and JavaPOSTM) in one speciﬁ cation of Point of Service Devices. Epson is a key player in these areas (Uniﬁ ed POS, OPOS and JavaPOSTM), and promotes the standardisation of peripheral device control drivers for the retail market. At the same time, we also provide drivers to a wide range of customers to support POS applications development. Working from customer feedback, our future aims include offering still better functions.

EPSON OPOS ADK

Epson OPOS ADK, provides the versatility and convenience of applications development in Windows® 2000, Windows® XP, Vista and WEPOS environments. Besides dramatically reducing the number of application steps, Epson OPOS ADK makes system upgrading pretty easy.

EPSON JAVAPOSTM ADK

JavaTM is a platform-independent language widely used for POS and other applications. JavaPOSTM standard API makes peripheral devices easy to operate and supports quick system startup.
