state-of-the-artmeasuring instrument is most accurate when weighing on a at
hardsurface. This scale will not function correctly on carpet. As the electronic
sensorsare sensi tive, avoid dropping or jarring the scale and store where it will
beprotected from impact.

Operating Instructions

1. Placefour AAA batteries(total 4) into the battery compartmentlocated on
thebase of the scale. Ensure the +/-terminals are correctly placed as indi-
catedby the diag ram within the battery compartment.
2. Selectyour desired mode of display (l b orkg ) by pressing thebutton l ocated
onthe base of the scale.
3. Pressthe Set Button. T he word User will begin to ash. Using theUpand
Downarrows, select
theUser number pre-
ferred.P ress Set to
conrmselection.
4. Theword Target will
begin toash. Using
theUp and Down but-
tonsselect the targetweight. PressSet to conrm selection.
5. Theword Weig htw ill appear and display 0.0. The scalei s nowre adyfor use.
Simply stand still onthe wei ghing platform with your feet evenly spaced
within10 seconds. Once your weight has been determined,a message to Get
Othescale wi ll bedi splayed.Once you have stepped oof the scale the
progresstoward the target weig htwill be displayedalong with the change in
weightsi nce the last weighing.
6. Ify oudo not step oof the scale when the words Get Oare displayed, the
scalewi llbeg in torotate through the 4 User Numbers. When the display
showsyour desired User N umber stepothe scale an dy ourprogress will be
displayed.
