Eureka! shelters are manufactured for use as temporary protection from sun and light rain. Evacuate the shelter during threatening or severe weather.
Assembly: See drawing on reverse side
1 Unpack all four boxes and separate the components. Leave the canopy folded until the roof rafters are up
2.Locate The Crown Assembly. Lay it on the ground, near the center of where you want the shelter to stand. Spread the arms and orient the crown so that the BLUE tipped arms point to the corners
3.Assemble The Rafters. Each rafter is two sections that are shockcorded together. The roof rafters are either BLUE or RED tipped and the perimeter rafters are GREEN tipped. Fit the centers together, making sure that the detent buttons are fully seated into the holes opposite section. Divide the rafters according to color
4.Add The Roof Rafters To The Crown Arms. Both the arms and rafters are color coded. Fit the BLUE tipped corner rafters onto the BLUE tipped arms and fit the RED tipped mid rafters onto the RED tipped arms. Again, ensure that the rafters fully capture the buttons to secure
5.Add The Brackets To The Rafters.
•There are 4 corner brackets. These have two GREEN tipped tubes and one BLUE tipped tube. Slide the BLUE tube over the end of a BLUE corner rafter and engage the buttons to secure. Repeat with the remaining corners
•There are 4 mid brackets. These have two GREEN tipped tubes and one RED tipped tube. Slide the RED tube over the RED mid rafter and secure. Repeat with the remaining mids
6.Add The Perimeter Rafters To The Brackets. Work your way around the frame adding the perimeter rafters as you go. Fit and secure GREEN to GREEN until you have created a square, freestanding frame. NOTE: If it appears the last rafters will not reach to the corners, walk to the center and lift the crown. This will pull the sides in to reduce the distance between corners
7.Attach The Canopy To The Frame. Unfold the canopy. Drag it, top up, square to one side of the frame. Pull the canopy up and over the frame until the peak vent covers the crown and the corners align to the frame. At each corner, reach under the canopy and wrap the attached Velcro® tabs around the bracket to secure. This will keep the canopy from sliding off as you raise the frame
8.Assemble The Poles.
•Use the bolts/nuts/washers to attach the baseplates to the lower pole sections. Take care to finger tighten only. Too much torque could deform the tube and make removal difficult
•Slide the top pole sections into the lower sections and engage the buttons to secure. Make sure to maintain the same height for all poles
9.Raise The Assembly.
•Move to the center on one side of the canopy and raise the mid bracket. Connect the top of a pole assembly into
the bottom tube of the mid bracket. Again, make sure the buttons are captured and secure. Next, go to the corners on this same side and connect pole assemblies to the bottom tube of both corner brackets.
•Continue to raise the remaining sides and connect all remaining assemblies.
•Step back at a corner and look down the row of poles.
Then, align the baseplates to straighten the row.
10.Attach The Fabric To The Frame. Move to under the canopy and working your way around the perimeter, wrap all of the Velcro® tabs over the tubes to secure the fabric to the frame
11.Stake It Down. There is a
