Grounding Instructions
This appliance must be grounded. If it should malfunction or break down, grounding provides a path of least resistance for electric current to reduce the risk of electric shock. This appliance is equipped with a cord having an

provided with the appliance. If it will not fit the outlet, have a proper outlet installed by a qualified technician. This appliance is for use on a nominal 120 volt circuit and has a grounding plug that looks like the plug illustrated in Figure A.
NOTE: In Canada, the use of a temporary adapter is not permitted by the
Canadian Electrical Code.
To reduce the risk of electric shock, the hose with electrical wires has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). This plug will fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician to install the proper outlet. Do not change the plug in any way.
