Powering the Radio

Extreme

The EZ Crank Radio Flashlight with Cell Charger can be powered by two AA batteries, or the EZ Crank. Select either BATT or GENERATED BATT on the BATT SELECTOR switch to choose your power source.

Installing Batteries

1.Slide the battery cover on the back of the unit in the direction indicated by the

arrow.

2.Insert 2 AA batteries, making sure to match the polarity (+ and -) marked in the battery compartment.

3.Replace the battery compartment.

Using the EZ Crank

When powering the unit for the first time or after a long time of non-use, it is recommended that you turn the EZ Crank for three to five minutes.

EZ Crank Radio Extreme will provide thirty minutes of light and radio power from one minute of turning. If the unit is completely drained of power we recommend winding it for three to five minutes to achieve optimal perfomance.

Re member to turn the unit off first before charging.

For best results, turn the EZ Crank handle at a speed of about 2 turns per second (120 RPM).

Note: While winding, an indicator light on the unit will illuminate.

How to Use

Choose LIGHT or RADIO on the switch at the top. When not in use, the switch should be set to RADIO and the volume knob should be turned to OFF.
