WARNING
Proper installation and use depends on you! If you do not follow the instruc- tions in this manual and the labels on the booster car seat, paying particular attention to the warning statements, your child could be at risk of striking the vehicle’s interior during a sudden stop or crash, resulting in serious injury or death.
▲ Use only the vehicle’s lap and shoulder belt system when restraining the child in this booster car seat. Using a lap belt only will still allow your child’s head
to move forward in a sudden stop or crash, possibly causing your child’s head to strike the vehicle’s interior or your child’s knees hard enough to cause injury or death.
▲ NEVER leave an unoccupied and unsecured booster car seat in your vehicle. If left unsecured, the booster car seat could injure other occupants in a sudden stop or crash.
▲ NEVER put anything on your vehicle seat (such as a cushion) to raise the booster car seat. This will create too much slack in the vehicle belt system. In a sudden stop or crash, a loose vehicle belt system will not be able to properly restrain your child.
▲ NEVER use the booster car seat after it is involved in an accident. An accident can cause damage to the booster car seat that you cannot see.
▲ NEVER allow the shoulder belt to be moved off of your child’s shoulder. It is critical that your child not move the shoulder belt out of position after you have adjusted it.
