Understanding Stock Entries

In each stock entry there are always three pieces of information pertain- ing to the stock: the stock’s ticker symbol (e.g., FEP), the name of the stock (e.g., Franklin Electronic Pub. Inc.), and the exchange that it is traded on (AMEX, NASDAQ, or NYSE). The name of the stock may also show whether or not the stock is preferred or is a warrant, as well as showing the stock’s series, if it applies.
