Using Air Conditioner

NOTE: If the air conditioner is turned off or the temperature is changed to a lower setting then back to a higher setting the compressor will shut off. Wait 3 minutes before the compressor will restart, this allows for the pressure inside the compressor to equalize..Failure to wait 3 minutes may cause inefficient operation when adjusting the temperature the fan will continue to run.

To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury to persons, read the IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS before operating this appliance.

To begin operating the air conditioner or heater, follow these steps:

1.Plug in the air conditioner. (To prevent electrical hazards, do not use an extension cord or an adapter plug.)

2.Press “On/Off” button to turn unit on.

3.Press “COOL” Mode for air conditioning, or press “HEAT” Mode for heater.

4.Press “TEMP/TIME” down V or up ^ to the desired set temperature. Review the “Air Conditioner Features” section for other settings.
