Charging the Battery

The battery is not charged at shipment. Charge the battery before use.

•The camera uses an NP-95 rechargeable battery.

•The battery takes about 4 hours to fully charge.

1Place the battery in the charger.

Insert the battery in the orientation indicated by the DFClabels.

R Attach the supplied adapter before charging the battery (the adapter is attached at shipment).

RThe supplied AC cord is for use exclusively with the supplied battery charger. Do not use the supplied charger with other cords or the sup- plied cord with other devices.

2Plug the charger in.

Plug the charger into an indoor power outlet. The charging indicator will light.
