Troubleshooting eIf you think the camera is faulty, check the following once more.

Batteries runs out quickly. iCamera is being used in extremely cold
conditions.
iThe terminals are soiled.
iThe batteries have reached the end of their
operating lives.
iPut the batteries in your pocket or another
warm place to heat them and then load them
into the camera just before you take a picture.
iWipe the battery terminals with a clean, dry
cloth.
iLoad new fully charged batteries.
No photograph is taken
when the shutter button is
pressed.
iNo xD-Picture Card is loaded.
iThe xD-Picture Card is fully recorded.
iThe xD-Picture Card is write-protected.
iThe xD-Picture Card is not formatted.
iThe xD-Picture Card contact area (gold-
colored area)is soiled.
iThe xD-Picture Card is damaged.
iThe Power Save function has switched the
camera off.
iThe batteries are exhausted.
iLoad an xD-Picture Card.
iInsert a new xD-Picture Card or erase some
unwanted frames.
iRemove the write-protection.
iFormat the xD-Picture Card.
iWipe the xD-Picture Card contact area
(gold-colored area)with a clean dry cloth.
iLoad a new xD-Picture Card.
iSwitch the camera on.
iLoad new fully charged batteries.
Prints were specified for more than 1000 frames
in the DPOF frame settings.
The maximum number of frames for which
prints can be specified on the same xD-Picture
Card is 999.
Copy the images for which you want to order
prints onto another xD-Picture Card and then
specify the DPOF settings.
Camera malfunction or fault. iSwitch the camera on again, taking care not to
touch the lens.
iSwitch the camera off and on again.
