Charging the Battery

The battery is not fully charged at shipment and must be fully charged before being used.

CAUTION

•The battery is not fully charged at shipment and must be fully charged before being used.

•Do not stick labels onto the battery as this could cause the battery to become jammed inside the camera.

•Any contact between the battery terminals could cause the battery to short circuit and overheat.

•See “Notes and Cautions” for information on the battery.

•Always use the Rechargeable Battery NP-40N (included) or NP-40 (sold separately). The use of other brands of rechargeable battery could cause faults or damage to the camera.

•Do not split or peel outer labels of the battery.
