■Inserting a Memory Card

1 Turn the camera off and open the battery- chamber cover.

Lightly press the center

of the battery-chamber cover and open it as shown.

2Insert the memory card. Holding the memory

card in the orientation

Click

shown at right, slide it in

 

until it clicks into place

 

at the back of the slot.

 

3Caution

Be sure card is in correct orientation; do not insert

at an angle or use force. If the memory card is not

correctly inserted, pictures

will be recorded to internal memory.

3Close the battery-chamber cover. Close the battery-cham-

ber cover and then lightly press it down and slide it in to latch.

Removing Memory Cards

Turn the camera off and then press the card in and release it slowly. The card can now be removed by hand.

3Cautions

•The memory card may spring out if you remove your fi nger immediately after pushing the card in.

•Memory cards may be warm to the touch after be- ing removed from the camera. This is normal and does not indicate a malfunction.
