Shooting Menu Options

dEXP. COMPENSATION	(defaults to 0)
Adjust exposure (P40).
NISO	(defaults to AUTO)

Control the camera’s sensitivity to light. Higher values can reduce blur; note, however, that mottling may appear in pictures taken at high sensitivities.

Option			Description
AUTO	Sensitivity is adjusted automatically in response to shooting
	conditions.
AUTO (3200) / AUTO (1600) / AUTO (800) /	As above, except that sensitivity will not be raised above the
AUTO (400)	value in parentheses.
6400 / 3200 / 1600 / 800 / 400 / 200 / 100	Sensitivity is set to the specifi ed value, which is shown in the
	display.
