Although Furman’s Ground Contamination Free Surge Suppression rarely requires servicing, nature has a way of occasionally creating electrical forces that are beyond the capabilities of any transient voltage surge suppressor device to absorb without some degree of damage. In the instance that this occurs, the green “Surge Protection” LED indicator will turn off and a warning buzzer will sound an audible alarm. If this happens, Furman’s surge suppression circuit is compromised. The unit must be returned to Furman Sound, or an authorized Furman Service Center for repair.
