When you connect the device to a power source, the device turns on, and the charging screen appears.

3. Charge the device completely.

When the device is fully charged, the on the screen is solid.

Turning On the Device

Press and hold power.

Keys

Each key has multiple functions.

light/	Press to turn on the
power	backlight.
	Press and hold to turn the
	device on and off.
up	Press to scroll through
	menus, holes, and settings.
down	Press to scroll through
	menus, holes, and settings.
OK/menu	Press to select menu
	options and acknowledge
	messages.
	Press and hold to open the
	menu.

Icons

	Battery is low.
	GPS in on and the
(animated)	odometer is measuring
	distance.
	Alarm is on.
