Su secadora prácticamente no necesi- ta mantenimiento. No es necesario lubricarla. Para un funcionamiento óptimo, la secadora se debe mantener limpia. Para facilitar su limpieza, su secadora profesional de GE tiene una tapa abatible y una malla inserta. Para limpiar la entrada de aire, desenchufe la secadora. Retire la tapa y saque la malla. Ahora puede sacudir o enjua- gar el polvo de la malla con facilidad. Una vez que la malla esté limpia y seca, colóquela en el filtro y vuelva a poner la tapa. Para su conveniencia, hemos incluido una segunda malla, en caso de que la malla original se pierda o dañe. El exterior de la secadora se debe limpiar sólo con un paño húmedo.

Si las entradas de aire se tapan harán que la secadora se sobrecaliente. Si esto sucede, un dispositivo de seguri- dad automático apagará la secadora o el calor para evitar daños o lesiones al usuario. Si la unidad o el calor se apa- gan, desenchufe el cordón y permita que la secadora se enfríe por 10 a 15 minutos antes de volverla a encender. Asegúrese que las entradas de aire estén limpias.

PRECAUCIÓN

NUNCA permita que se jale o tuerza el cordón. Nunca enrolle el cordón alrededor del aparato. El daño ocur- rirá en el punto de flexibilidad máxi- mo, que es el punto de entrada a la secadora, y causará la ruptura y un cortocircuito. Revise el cordón con frecuencia para determinar si hay daños. Deje de usar el aparato de inmediato si hay daños visibles o si la unidad deja de funcionar o funciona de forma intermitente.

Si el cordón o la secadora están daña- dos o no funcionan correctamente, llévela al lugar donde la adquirió para que se la cambien. El usuario no debe intentar hacer la reparación.

ALMACENAMIENTO - Importante

Cuando no está en uso, la secadora se debe desconectar y almacenar en un lugar seguro, seco y fuera del alcance de los niños. No enrolle el cordón alrededor del aparato. Cuelgue el cordón o déjelo suelto y recto en el punto de entrada a la secadora.
