TOASTING BAGELS AND ENGLISH MUFFINS
7. Unplug cord from wall outlet when not in use.
noTe: To prevent fire hazard, never place food over opening of th e toaster (Slot(s).
imPorTanT: Never use a fork or shar p-edged utensil to remove toast, because
that may damage the h eating element or cause inju ry.
1. Remove all protective wrappings from food before placing into the Toasting
Slots. Avoid toasting to rn bagels or English muf fins that may be l odged in
Toasting Slot.
2. Place Toaster on a flat, level surface.
3. Plug the Toaster into a 120V AC ele ctrical outlet.
4. Turn the Browning Control Knob to desired setting: (1) is the lightest setting and
(7) is the darkest. You may want to experiment with t he Browning Control Knob
to determine your preference. For the first use, set t he Browning Control Knob
to medium (4).
5. Slice bagel or English muf fin half. Place bagel o r English muffin Toasting Slots.
Turn out sides of bagels or En glish muffins toward t he side elements. Push
Down on the Toast Lever Firs t and Then Press the B agel Button. The Bagel Light
will come on.
noTe: When using only one Toasting Slot to toast food, t he food may be placed in
either Toasting Slot since the Centering Guides will automat ically center the food
for even toasting.
6. Bagel or English muffin will automatically pop up when the cycle is finished. The
toaster will shut off automatically. The automati c reset function returns t he
Toaster to normal after each cycle.
7. To stop or interrupt any Toasting Cycle, press t he Cancel Button. The brea d will
automatically rise and th e toaster will turn off.
8. Unplug cord from wall ou tlet when not in use.
noTe: Non-frozen (or thawed) p astries should be toas ted using the default Toast
Cycle. Follow the package in structions.
noTe: Do not use this Toaster for toasting pastry i tems with running frostin g or
open fillings.
DEFROST INSTRUCTIONS

Slots. Avoid toasting to rn slices of bread or broken pastries that may bet lodged
in Toasting Slot.

3. Plug the Toaster into a 120V AC ele ctrical outlet.
