Ce processus peut prendre plusieurs minutes étant donné que la télécommande contient de nombreux codes.

Lorsque vous utilisez la méthode de programmation – recherche automatique de code, la touche de l'appareil correspondant au type d'appareil que vous souhaitez commander doit être sélectionnée (par exemple la touche d'appareil TV doit être sélectionnée à l'étape 3 si vous souhaitez commander un téléviseur, la touche d'appareil DVD doit être sélectionnée pour commander un lecteur DVD, etc.)

La touche SETUP peut être utilisée pendant la recherche pour inverser le sens de la recherche des codes de la télécommande. Par exemple, si vous manquez le code correspondant à votre appareil et que la télécommande poursuit la recherche (comme l'indique le clignotement du voyant rouge), appuyez sur la touche SETUP pour modifier le sens de la recherche de code et revenir au code que vous avez manqué.
