Inserting and replacing charcoal filter
•Assembly: Open the water filter holder (23) and insert the charcoal filter (22). Make
sure to align the charcoal filter’s (22) flat bottom inside the water filter holder (23) as shown in the illustration (ill. l ).
•Inserting: Insert the water filter assembly (22, 23) into the water tank (4) (ill. m ). The head of the water filter holder (23) should be fully inserted into the water tank (ill. n ).
Note: After 60 brewing cycles the charcoal filter (22) should be replaced. You can replace the charcoal filter (22) before reach 60 cycles (especially if your household’s water hardness is above normal).
Note: Replacement water charcoal filters are available at
•Replacing: Remove the water filter assembly (22, 23) from the water tank (4) (ill. m ). Insert a new charcoal filter into the water filter holder (23) (ill. l ). Reinsert the water filter assembly (22, 23) into the water tank (ill. m / n ). Fill water tank (4) with clean water and run one brewing cycle to rinse the coffee maker.
