Note:The CLA-30/40cannot beused withtelephones whichhave a keypadon
thehandset.
3 - VOLUME CONTROL
Youcanadjust the volume control level by using the “VOLUME” controlslide
switchlocated onthetop. Volumecanbe adjustedfrom thesamelevel youhave
withyour phone up to 30 dB or more.
4 - TONE CONTROL
Youcanadjust the tone by using the 5 position “TONE” switch located on the
top.The tonecan beadjusted by5 dBstep withregard ofthe 0dBmiddle point
forthe bassand treble.Possible settingsare -10dB, -5dB,0dB forthe bassand
0dB,-5dB, -10dB forthe treble, thiscan beadjusted atthe minand maxvolume
level.
5- BOOST SWITCH (CLA-40 ONLY)
Ifyou wish you can increase the receiving up to 10 dB more by pressing and
holdingthe Boostswitchbutton. Duringthis operationthemicrophone ismuted
toavoid feedbackproblems. Tospeakrelease thebutton so thatthe peoplecan
hearyou.
6-BATTERYINDICATOR
Eachtime youuseyour phonewith theamplifier,the batteryLED indicatorwill
lightto showthatthe batteryis full.Ifthe LEDdoes notlight,the batterymust be
changed.
IMPORTANT:Alwaysdisconnect CLA-30/40fromthe phonebefore replacing
thebattery.
