moving parts, breakage of parts, proper mounting and any other conditions that may affect the operation of the tool. A part that is damaged should be properly repaired or replaced by an authorised service facility, unless otherwise indicated in this Instruction Manual. Defective switches must be replaced by an authorized service facility. Do not use a tool if the switch does not turn the tool on and off correctly.
18.Guard against electric shock. Prevent body contact with grounded objects such as water pipes, radiators, cookers and refrigerator enclosures.
19.Use only approved parts. When servicing, use only identical replacement parts. Use an authorised service facility to fit replacement parts
Additional safety rules for staplers/nailers
1.Use only the staples/brad nails indicated in this manual. Use of accessories that are not designed for this tool could result in personal injury and/or damage to the tool
2.Do not touch metal parts of the tool during operation. Hold only the handle or the housing of the tool.
3.Safety Lock. When ever you are not using this tool, always use the Safety Lock feature.
4.Use correctly. The tool should only be used for the purpose it was designed as outlined in this manual. Do not use it on hard surfaces like rock or concrete. Personal injury or damage to the tool could result.
5.Take care when stapling or nailing thin material. Special caution must be taken for the possible penetration of staples or brad nails through thin material. This could cause harm to anyone behind the workpiece or in the immediate area.
6.Do not overheat the tool. During the operation the stapler/nailer may feel warm to the touch. This is normal. However, if the stapler/nailer starts to feel hot, discontinue use until the unit cools down.
7.Disconnect the cord from the stapler/nailer when it is
not in use, before cleaning and when reloading staples or brad nails.
NEVER Fire a stapler/nailer unless it is on the material you want to secure.
DANGER. Firing staples or nails into the air is extremely dangerous.
WARNING. Before connecting the stapler/nailer to the power source (power point receptacle, outlet, etc.) be sure that the voltage supply is the same as that specified on the nameplate. A power source with a voltage greater than that specified for the tool can result in serious injury to the user, as well as damage to the tool.
•Before using the tool check that there are no hidden hazards such as electric cables, water or gas pipes running below the surface.
•Do not expose the tool to rain, high humidity or wet conditions
Always unplug the power cord before making any adjustments or maintenance, including reloading staples or brad nails.
