Application

DFD & FD Series FSD Series SMD series

The grille option for Fire, Combination Fire Smoke and Smoke Dampers provides mounting tabs on the sleeve to ease installation of grilles in the field. The tabs are made out of 20 gauge (1mm) galvanized steel (3/4 inch x 2 in. long [19mm x 51mm]) with .149 in. (3.8mm) diameter hole for fastening of grille. The flanges are concealed when the grille is installed. The grille option is limited to 48 in. x 48 in. (1219mm x 1219mm).

DFD & FD Series, SMD series specifications

Greenheck is a leading manufacturer in the ventilation and air movement industry, known for its innovative solutions that enhance indoor air quality and energy efficiency. Two prominent product lines offered by Greenheck are the SMD series and the DFD & FD series of fans, each designed to meet specific application needs while delivering exceptional performance.

The SMD series stands for "Silent Medium Duty" fans, characterized by their superior acoustics and energy efficiency. Designed primarily for use in commercial and industrial settings, these fans ensure minimal noise output while providing optimal airflow. One of the main features of the SMD series is its patented, airfoil blade design, which not only reduces turbulence but also enhances overall efficiency, allowing for quieter operation without compromising performance. The fans are available in various configurations, including direct drive and belt drive, offering flexibility for different applications. The SMD series also incorporates advanced fan control technologies, enabling users to optimize energy usage and maintain precise airflow based on demand.

On the other hand, the DFD (Double Width, Double Inlet) and FD (Single Width, Single Inlet) series fans are engineered to handle larger volumes of air, making them suitable for more extensive and demanding applications. Both series feature a robust construction designed to withstand harsh operating conditions. The DFD series offers dual inlet configurations, allowing for higher capacity airflow, while the FD series provides a more compact solution with its single inlet design. Key characteristics of both series include high-efficiency motors and an advanced direct drive system, which reduces energy consumption and maintenance needs. Additionally, the fans are equipped with high-performance bearings and advanced airflow designs, ensuring long-lasting reliability and optimal performance.

Another significant aspect of both the SMD and DFD/FD series fans is the focus on sustainability. Greenheck integrates environmentally-friendly practices in their manufacturing processes, and the fans are designed with energy efficiency in mind, contributing to lower operational costs and reduced carbon footprints.

In conclusion, Greenheck's SMD and DFD & FD series of fans represent a commitment to quality, innovation, and sustainability. Their specialized designs cater to a variety of applications, ensuring that users can find the right solution for their ventilation needs while benefiting from advanced technologies and superior performance characteristics.
