Battery Pack

Charging Stand

The battery in your new cordless power tool will not be fully charged when you receive it. To maximize the storage capac- ity of the battery it should be completely discharged, then fully recharged 3-5 times.

For optimal life span, completely discharge the battery before charging. Follow the instructions below to charge your battery.

Battery charging with standard charger (1 piece charger):

1.Plug the charger into an appropriate 110/120V outlet.

2.Insert the battery into the charger. The battery fits into the oval recess in only one way. Do not force the bat- tery. Insert until it locks into place.

3.The red light will come on when the battery is inserted. Charge battery for 3-5 hours.

4.When the battery is fully charged, remove the battery from the charger to complete of the charge cycle.

Using Your Vacuum

1.Turn vacuum on by pressing the switch at located on the top of the unit.

2.Empty the collection chamber by pressing the button located on the top of the unit

3.Occasionally remove and clean the elastic filter sleeve from the inside of the collection chamber. Allow filter to completely dry before using the vacu- um.

Keeping Tools Clean

Plastic parts can easily be cleaned with a damp cloth, but never use water to clean any electrical parts. Solvents should also be avoided on plastic because of the pos- sibility of damage.

Maintenance

Your cordless power tool will give you hun- dreds of hours of operation time before ever needing service. The electrical com- ponents of this cordless vacuum are not user serviceable. Repair should always be undertaken by a qualified electrical repair technician.

Always store the cordless vacuum in a dry place.

The battery will require periodic recharg- ing, and eventually replacement after it has exceeded its recharge life (approximately 800-1000 recharge cycles). You will notice extended charging times or shortened operation time as the battery experiences more cycles. Refer to the Grizzly catalog for replacement batteries.
