Speed Adjustment

The Model H5627 features staple firing speeds from .5 to 16 staples per second.

To adjust the staple firing speed:

1.Disconnect the stapler from the air supply!

2. Release the speed adjustment lock by holding the speed adjustment screw in place with a screwdriver while rotat- ing the speed adjustment lock counter clockwise.

3. Rotate the speed adjustment screw counter clockwise to increase the fir- ing speed or clockwise to slow the fir- ing speed (Figure 5).

4.To test fire the stapler push the sta- pler against a scrap of wood, hold the trigger down continuously, and move the stapler across the wood.

5.When the firing speed has been adjusted, secure the speed adjust- ment screw by placing a flat head screwdriver in the slot and twisting the speed adjustment lock clockwise until tight.

Clearing Jammed Staples

A jammed staple must be cleared before using the stapler again.

To clear a jammed staple:

1.Disconnect the stapler from the air supply!

2. Open the magazine cover and pull the magazine all the way back.

3.Remove stick of staples.

4.Remove jammed staple with needle nose pliers.

Always disconnect air from stapler whenever clearing a jammed staple!
