Charging unit
You can set up the charging unit G anywhere where there is a power supply available.
Charging
Check if the type plate on the power supply unit corresponds to your local mains supply.
1 Press the B button to switch off the device.
2Fit the appliance exactly into the charging unit G .

7Make sure that the charging contacts I of the charging unit are congruent with the contacts F on the appliance.
3 Plug the power cord into the socket J on the charging unit.
4 Plug the power supply unit into the socket.
–The charging begins and the charging display C lights up red.

7Charge up the battery completely (14
7Charge the appliance at room temperature. Low or high temperatures will affect the serv- ice life of the battery.
7The ambient temperature should be between 5 °C and 40 °C.
7When fully charged, the appliance works for around 15 minutes.
It is not advisable to charge the batteries after each use. Particularly if it has not been used for the full 15 minutes operating time. Only charge the batteries when they are completely discharged. This increases their service life. Do not charge them every day.
7The power supply unit and the charging unit heat up while charging. This is totally normal.
7The charging unit has a blue LED light which lights up when the charging unit is connected to the mains with the power supply unit.
