Sleep Timer setting

The sleep timer automatically shuts off the TV after a preset time (from 15 to 120 minutes).

1Press the MENU button and then use / button to select the Time menu.

2Press the button and then use / button to select the SleepTimer.

3Press the button and then use / button to select the number of minutes

Select 0Min, 15Min, 30Min, 60Min, 90Min, 120Min.

When the number of minutes you want is displayed on the screen, press the OK button. The time begins to count down from the number of minutes selected.

4When you are satisfied with your choice, press MENU button to return to the previous menu or press the EXIT button to return to TV viewing.

5To cancel the set sleep timer:

Press the / button to select 0min.

You can use the SLEEP button also to select quickly the sleep timer.

Time zone setting

(only available when date/time mode is set to Automatic) This function allows you to select your local time zone. Broadcasted time information will correct the clock display for your local time.

1Press the MENU button and then use / button to select the Time menu.

2Press the button and then use / button to select the Time Zone items.

3Press the button and then use / button to adjust the setting.

4When you are satisfied with your choice, press MENU button to return to

the previous menu or press the EXIT button to return to TV viewing.

Press the button and then use / button to select your viewing area time zone: Newfoundland, Atlantic, Eastern, Central, Mountain, Pacific, Alaska, Hawaii or Samoa.

Daylight Saving setting

(only available when date/time mode is set to Automatic) Daylight saving time is automatically set by specially broadcasted signals.

This menu item allows you to disable the automatic setting of daylight saving time. This is useful if you live in an area or state where daylight saving is not applied, but you receive channels from other areas where daylight saving signals are broadcasted.

buttont to select On for automatic clock correction

for daylight saving time, based on specially broadcasted signals. Select Off to disable automatic clock correction based on the specially broadcasted signals.
