Surface-mount channel is used when minimal size and weight are desirable. Typical applications for surface-mount are under-cabinet, in-cabinet, cove and strip lighting. Surface-mount consists of a housing with two square copper conductors.

C o n n e c t o r s

Surface channel connectors and feed points allow almost unlimited configurations. Channels may be field cut to any length. Channels can be mechanically and electrically connected by straight, right-angle and flexible joiners. Electrical feeds to surface channel are made using the end feed, conduit feed, J-box feed or T-bar feed. Feeds and joiners push into the end of the channel and are secured with a single screw. Electrical connections are assured by compression-type, nickel- plated brass terminal blocks.

G r o u n d i n g

Low-voltage lighting systems do not require grounding when used with LV500 series isolated power supplies.

P o l a r i t y

The lampholder adapter may be inserted in either orientation, simplifying installation and allowing greater than 360º rotation for maximum fixture adjustment.

Surface-mount channel consists of a thermal plastic housing with two 10AWG nickel-plated copper conductors. Electrical capacity is:
