How to use
wWARNING Burn Hazard.
Always use an oven mitt to protect hand when opening a hot waffle maker. Escaping steam can burn.
BEFORE FIRST USE: Wipe the bottom and top cooking grids with a soapy, damp cloth. Rinse cloth; then wipe grids again.
1.Plug cord into electrical outlet. The POWER ON light will glow.
2.Preheat with lid closed until READY light comes on.
3.Use a cooking spray before pouring batter into the grids, especially for dessert waffles or recipes with a lot of sugar.
4. Raise lid and pour about 1/3 cup (80 ml) batter onto center of each waffle square. Lower the lid. 5. Waffles are done in about 3 to 6 min-
utes, depending on recipe, or when 
steaming begins to stop. Remove 
waffle with plastic or wooden utensil. 
Never use metal. This will damage 
the nonstick coating.
6.Unplug unit when through cooking. Let cool.
Power ON and Ready lights
The POWER ON light comes on when the waffle maker is first plugged in. This light will stay on until the unit is unplugged.
The READY light comes on when the waffle maker has reached the desired temperature. For best results, wait until the READY light comes on before adding the waffle batter. This light will cycle on and off during baking.

Usage tips
•Most waffle recipes can be poured directly onto the non- stick cooking grids. Use a cooking spray for dessert waf- fles or any recipe with a lot of sugar. If your waffles start to stick, the grids may need to be scrubbed with a nylon brush to remove any
•Waffles can be made ahead of time and kept warm in a 200˚F (90˚C) oven.
•To store waffles, let cool and then pack in an airtight container. Store in refrigerator or freezer. Waffles can be reheated in a microwave oven, a toaster oven, or regular oven.
•Most waffles are done in about 3 to 6 minutes. Recipes made from scratch may take longer. Check for doneness after approximately 5 minutes or when the steaming stops. If the lid doesn’t lift easily, let waffles cook a minute more before checking again.

Utilisation
wAVERTISSEMENT Risque de brûlure.
Toujours utiliser un gant de cuisinier pour protéger les mains pendant la manipulation d’un gaufrier chaud. La vapeur s’échappant peut brûler et le couvercle est chaud.
AVANT LA PREMIÈRE UTILISATION : Essuyer les grilles de couvercle et de fond avec un linge humidifié d’eau savonneuse. Rincer le linge puis essuyer à nouveau les grilles.
1.Brancher la fiche dans la prise murale. Le témoin d’alimentation ON s’allumera.
2.Préchauffer en fermant le couvercle jusqu’à ce que le témoin de préchauffage (READY) s’allume.
3.Utiliser un enduit pour cuisson avant de verser la pâte sur les grilles, surtout pour des gaufres desserts ou des recettes contenant beaucoup de sucre.
4. Soulever le couvercle et verser 
environ 80 ml (1/3 de tasse) de pâte
au centre de chaque grille de cuisson. 
Abaisser le couvercle.
