Troubleshooting

PROBLEM

Brew cycles take longer than when unit was new.

Amount of brewed coffee is less than when unit was new.

Unit shuts off early in brewing cycle.

Cover does not fit snugly.

Coffee grounds are in your brewed coffee.

Coffee grounds accidentally spill into the reservoir.

PROBABLE CAUSE

Clean coffeemaker with vinegar. Follow instructions on page 7.

Make sure that the filter basket is properly positioned and that the cover is turned so that the tab fits into the pouring spout.

Wait about 3 minutes after the brew cycle is complete before pouring.

Fill the reservoir with water and turn it upside down to discard water in the sink. Repeat this procedure to flush out the coffee grounds.
