Toasting Tips (continued)

Toasting Tips (continued)

When toasting, condensation may form on the oven door. A toaster oven is enclosed so the moisture is slow to escape. After toasting, wipe door to dry and make clean-up easier.

When the bell sounds at the end of the cycle, remove toast immediately or the heat remaining in the toaster oven will continue to toast and dry out your toast.

The number of slices of bread, the bread freshness, and the starting temperature of the oven will affect toast color. If the oven is already hot, select a lighter shade of toast than normal. Adjust the Toast Shade Selector to achieve the desired color.

To Bake

Do not leave appliance unattended when in operation. Wash the baking pan and broil rack before using.

1.Place oven rack in low or high position

depending on food to be cooked.

2.Select temperature then set Timer to

5 and let preheat for five minutes before beginning to bake.

3.Set Timer to desired time or “Stay On.”

The indicator light will come on and oven will begin baking.

4.When finished, turn OFF. Unplug from outlet.

Baking Tip: Most foods should be baked according to pack- age or recipe directions. Watch carefully and adjust the time or temperature if necessary.

NOTE: To reduce the risk of fire, do not use oven cooking bags in the toaster oven.

To Broil

Do not leave appliance unattended when in operation. Wash the baking pan and broil rack before using.

1. Place broil rack inside baking pan.

2. Place oven rack in high position. Place baking pan on the oven rack.

3.Set the Function Selector Knob to Broil.

4. Set Timer to desired time or “Stay On.” The Indicator Light will come on. Only the

top heating elements come on during the Broil Function.

5.Halfway through cooking time, or when food has browned, turn food over to brown and cook other side.

6.When finished turn OFF; unplug from outlet.

NOTES:

Always allow at least one inch between the food and the heating element.
