ADJUSTMENT INSTRUCTIONS

1.The jaws are properly adjusted if when held in a closed position, there is a parallel gap between the cutting edges.

2.To adjust the gap, back off the jaw adjustment screw lock nut. Back off the screw until its head rests on the stopper on the opposite handle. Back off the screw 1/6th of a turn at a time and hold tool to the light, observing result of gap setting.

3.To verify the gap, place a sheet of paper between the jaws and fully close the handles. The jaws should hold the paper in place. Hold the screw in place and tighten the lock nut. DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN the nut.
