Operation

Do not immerse heating element, cord, or plug in water or any other liquid.

1.To prevent foodborne illness, wipe any non-electrical parts of the unit before use with a wet sponge or dis- infectant kitchen wipe.

2.Dry with a soft cloth. Wipe the body with a soft clean cloth or sponge.

3.Allow unit to dry completely before use.

4.Note: No assembly is required.

Operation

Read the entire Important Safeguards section at the beginning of this manual including all text under subheadings therein before set up or use of this product.

1.Clean Hot Plate before each use as explained in the “Cleaning” section.

2.Insert power cord into nearby 120V outlet, making sure cord does not come into contact with Hot Plate.

3.Turn the Hot Plate’s switch to desired temperature setting (Low, Medium or High.) Once Hot Plate is activated, the indicator light will turn on.

4.Place item on Plate. Do NOT leave Hot Plate unattended during use.

5.Heat/cook item and then remove it from Hot Plate.

6.To prevent accidents, turn off Hot Plate and disconnect its power supply after use. Clean, then store the appli- ance indoors out of children’s reach.

MAINTENANCE

To prevent serious injury

from accidental operation or electric shock: Before appliance inspection or maintenance, make sure the appliance’s switch is turned off, the cord is unplugged, and the unit has cooled completely.

To prevent serious injury from Appliance failure: Do not use damaged appliances. If abnormal noise or vibration occurs, have the problem corrected before further use.

1.BEFORE EACH USE, inspect the general condition of the appliance. Check for loose screws, misalignment or binding of moving parts, cracked or broken parts, damaged electrical wir- ing, and any other condition that may affect its safe operation.

2.Clean Hot Plate off according to the instructions listed above and then store in a safe and secure location.
