2.5" Polycrystalline TFT LCD Display*
The DMC-FX7 features a 2.5" LCD monitor – surprisingly large for such a compact camera. This high-quality, 114,000-pixel display makes it easy to see your subject. For easier viewing when shooting outdoors on a sunny day, press the Power LCD button to boost the backlighting by about 40%.
*The DMC-FX2 has a 2.0" LCD monitor with 130,000-pixel resolution.

All settings are made automatically, so it's easy to take beautiful photos
even if you've never before used a digital camera. Just aim and press the
shutter button. When shooting directly into a light source, press the cursor
button. This will turn on the backlighting compensation mode so the subject
doesn't appear too dark.
This position lets you look at the menu screen and select the most suitable scene mode.
