Using the Camera in Portable Mode
Getting Started
To start using your camera in portable mode (not
connected to a computer), do the following:
1Assemble the camera (page 54).
2Attach a DCS 645 battery or connect the AC
adapter (page 87).
3Insert a CF Card (page 68).
4Turn on the camera body.
5Capture images.
6Review the images (page 108) on the Image
LCD or enable the video output (page 140) to
view them on a monitor.
7Remove the CF Card from the camera and
insert it in a card reader.
8Copy the image files to the computer.
9Review and edit the images, as needed, in
DCS Capture Studio, DCS Photo Desk, or
ADOBE Photoshop with DCR File Format
Module or the ERI JPEG module.
10S ave the images to the computer’s hard drive
in the desired format.
