ACCD Housing: this movable platform contains the light sensor and holds the optics.
BPositioning Lead Screws: for positioning of the CCD housing and optics housing for the appropriate resolution and original size.
COptics Housing: focuses the image of the original on the CCD.
DUpper Light Source: illuminates reflective originals.
ELower Light Source: illuminates transparent originals.
FDrum: rotates the original into the scanner and steps it past the CCD line of focus.
GOriginal Holder: a transparency holder is shown mounted and with the top layer held open.
