IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION
Honda generators are designed for use with electricalequipment that
has suitable power requirements. Other uses can result in injuryto the
operator or damage to the generator and other property.
Most injuries orproperty damage can be prevented if you follow all
instructions in this manual and on the generator. The mostcommon
hazards are discussed below, along with the best way to protect
yourself and others.
Be sure that anyone who operates the generatorreceives proper
instruction. Do not let children operate the generator without
parental supervision.
Know how to stop the generatorquickly in case of emergency.
Understand the use of all generator controls, output receptacles,
and connections.
Exhaust contains poisonous carbon monoxide, a colorless, odorless
gas. Breathing carbon monoxidecan cause loss of consciousness
and may lead to death.
If you run the generator in an area thatis confined, or even partly
enclosed area, the air you breathecould c ontain a dangerous
amount of exhaust gas.
Never run your generator inside a garage, house, or near open
windows or doors.
