Fuel filter clogged,
carburetor malfunction,
ignition malfunction,
valves stuck,etc.
Check air filter.
Check fuel.
Take engine to an
authorized Honda
servicingdealer, or
refertoshopmanual.
Air filter clogged.
Bad fuel; pump stored
without treating or
draining gasoline, or
refuel with bad
gasoline.
Fuel filter clogged,
carburetor malfunction,
ignition malfunction,
valves stuck,etc.
Clean or replace filter
(p. 34 ).
Drainf ueltank and
carburetor (p. 41 ).
Refuel with fresh
gasoline (p. 28 ).
Replace or repair faulty
components as
necessary.
Movefuel valve lever
to ON position.
Movechoke lever to
CLOSEDposition
unless engine is warm.
Turn ignition switch to
ON.
Refuel (p.28 )
Drainf ueltank and
carburetor (p. 41 ).
Refuel with fresh
gasoline (p. 28 ).
Gap orreplace spark
plug (p. 35 ).
Dry and reinstall spark
plug. Start engine with
throttle lever in FAST
position.
Replace or repair faulty
components as
necessary.
