Floor care hints

Floors may be difficult to care for when not treated properly. Refer to the chart below for solutions to floor problems.

Problem: Slippery floor

•Too mu ch wax.

•Remove wax. Apply thin even coat.

•D e t e rgent not rinsed from floor.

•Remove wax. Rinse detergent from floor before waxing.

•Floor not dry when wax applied.

•Remove wax. Let floor dry thoroughly before rewaxing .

•Floor not polished pro p e r ly.

•Polish with power scrub and cleaning brushes, then buff .

Problem: Dull floor

•Not enough wax.

•Apply another thin coat of wax. Polish and buff.

Problem: Streaked floor

•Scuffing from rubber heals.
