Thermal protector

An internal thermal protector has been designed into your cleaner to protect it from overheating.

When the thermal protector acti- vates, the cleaner will stop run- ning. If this happens, proceed as follows:

1.Turn the cleaner OFF and dis- connect it from the electrical out- let.

2.Check secondary and final fil- ters for dirt accumulation.

3.Refer to “Clearing blockages” section.

4.When cleaner is unplugged and the motor cools for 30 min- utes, the thermal protector automati- cally resets and cleaning may con- tinue.

If the thermal protector continues to activate after following the above steps, your cleaner may need ser- vicing (see “Service” section).

U5182900 specifications

The Hoover U5182900 is a versatile and robust upright vacuum cleaner designed to tackle a variety of cleaning tasks around the home. Known for its suction power and user-friendly design, this model is particularly popular among homeowners looking for effective cleaning solutions.

One of the main features of the Hoover U5182900 is its powerful suction technology. It is equipped with a multi-cyclonic filtration system that separates dirt and debris from the air, preventing clogs and maintaining suction power over time. This ensures that the vacuum continues to pick up dirt efficiently, even as the dirt container fills up. The extensive reach of the vacuum, aided by a long power cord and a range of attachments, makes it easy to clean high ceilings, corners, and other hard-to-reach areas with minimal effort.

The vacuum is built with a lightweight structure, making it easy to maneuver around the house. With its ergonomic handle, users can enjoy a comfortable grip while navigating furniture and tight spaces. Its swivel steering enhances mobility, allowing for smooth turns and improved control during cleaning sessions.

Another notable feature of the Hoover U5182900 is its adjustable height settings. This allows users to switch between different floor types, such as hardwood, carpet, and tile, ensuring optimal performance on each surface. Additionally, it contains a brush roll designed to efficiently lift dirt and hair from various materials, making it a perfect choice for pet owners and families.

The U5182900 also incorporates a HEPA filtration system, which captures up to 99.97% of dust and allergens as small as 0.3 microns. This feature is particularly beneficial for those with allergies, as it helps to improve indoor air quality by trapping potentially harmful particles that other vacuums might recirculate back into the air.

For convenience, the Hoover U5182900 features a large capacity dirt cup that is easy to empty and clean, minimizing maintenance efforts. Its onboard tools, including a crevice tool and dusting brush, provide additional cleaning versatility for tackling various surfaces and reaching tight spots.

In summary, the Hoover U5182900 stands out for its combination of powerful suction, lightweight design, and advanced filtration technology. These attributes make it a reliable choice for homeowners seeking an efficient and user-friendly vacuum cleaner that can handle diverse cleaning challenges with ease.
