Installation

Location & Air Circulation

Locate your freezer away from sources of heat e.g. Cookers, Radiators, Direct Sunlight as extreme temperature will affect its performance.

Allow a minimum 30mm (11/4 inch) between the top of the freezer and the underside of the worktop.

30mm (11/4 inch)

Providing you follow the recommended ventilation requirements you will :-

Prolong the life of the freezer.

Minimise the risk of condensation on the outside of the freezer.

Minimise the running costs.

Minimise operating sounds caused by vibration.

Minimum space required to open door

The freezer needs a space of 600mm (24 inches) in front to allow the door to open.

When positioning the freezer next to a unit, a gap of 30mm (11/4 inch) can be left at the hinge side of the door to allow the easy removal of furniture. If preferred the freezer can be positioned so that a gap is not left. This will restrict how far the door can be opened but the furniture can still be removed (see diagram below). The door hinge side can be changed to make it easier to open (see ‘Door Reversal’ in the CLEANING & MAINTENANCE section).

Hotpoint is a well-respected name in the appliance industry, known for merging functionality and style. Among their range of kitchen appliances, the Hotpoint RZM33, RZA33, RZA31, and RZM31 stand out in the category of refrigeration. These models showcase innovative features designed to meet the evolving needs of modern consumers.

The Hotpoint RZM33 is a stylish refrigerator that emphasizes practicality and efficiency. One of its main features is the A+ energy rating, ensuring that it operates efficiently while keeping electricity bills low. It boasts a capacity of 211 liters, providing ample storage space for a family’s perishable goods. The adjustable shelves offer flexibility in terms of storage options, making it easy to accommodate taller items like bottles or cakes. Additionally, the reversible doors allow for installation in kitchens of varying layouts, providing greater flexibility in kitchen design.

Similarly, the Hotpoint RZA33 has been engineered with a focus on energy efficiency, holding an A+ rating as well. It features a total capacity of 193 liters and includes advanced cooling technologies that help retain freshness for longer periods. The model is equipped with Hotpoint's No Frost technology, which prevents ice build-up in the freezer, eliminating the need for manual defrosting. This feature not only saves time but also enhances overall efficiency.

The Hotpoint RZA31 and RZM31 models continue in this line of innovative design. The RZA31, like its counterparts, comes with A+ energy efficiency and offers 182 liters of space. It also features adjustable shelves and a fresh food compartment that optimally maintains the quality of fruits and vegetables.

On the other hand, the RZM31 is designed with a more compact structure, making it ideal for smaller kitchens or utility spaces. It combines both a refrigerator and freezer in a single unit, ensuring maximum utility without consuming additional floor space. The integrated LED lighting within the refrigerator ensures that food is easily visible, although all models are designed with user-friendly interfaces and controls.

Overall, the Hotpoint RZM33, RZA33, RZA31, and RZM31 refrigerators are prime examples of how modern technology can be harnessed to create appliances that are not only stylish but also incredibly functional. Their energy-efficient operation, advanced cooling technologies, and thoughtful design make them suitable options for today's households looking to enhance their culinary experience while ensuring sustainability.
