Timer control | Turn the timer clockwise to select the required drying time.
| The timer controls the drying time for both heat settings. All you have to | |
| do is turn the Timer control clockwise, until the required time appears in | |
| line with the indicator. |
|
| Never wind the timer control | |
| Turning the timer also starts the dryer, provided the door is closed and the | |
| machine is plugged in. The “Guide To Drying Times” section will tell you | |
| how much time you’ll need for various loads. | |
Heat Selection | The button is ‘OUT’ for LOW heat and ‘IN’ for HIGH heat.
| The choice of HIGH HEAT or LOW HEAT depends upon the fabric you wish | |
| to dry (see section, ‘Sorting your Laundry’) | |
Fresh Air Selection | The button is ‘OUT’ for normal drying and ‘IN’ for ‘Fresh Air’ drying.
| If selected, outside air will be drawn into the machine and gently blown | |
| through the drying load. |
|
Drying Light | This light glows during any drying programme and goes out at the start of
| the ‘Cool Tumble/Fresh Air’ phase. | |
Fresh Air Light | This light glows during any drying programme when the Fresh Air option
| is selected. |
|
The ‘Cool Tumble’/ | About 20 minutes before the programme is completed, the heating
‘Fresh Air’ phase | elements will be switched off, and the programme enters either the final
/ | ‘Cool Tumble’ or ‘Fresh Air’ phase. During this phase, the fabric is cooled.
| You should always allow the dryer to complete this phase. | |
| By opening the door, the dryer will stop and you can check the dryness of | |
| the load as often as you wish and if you want to remove (or add) some | |
| items before they are fully dry. (This is particularly useful for a mixed load | |
| where you want to iron some items, but other to be fully dried). | |
| We recommend that the clothes are removed immediately after the | |
| programme has finished to minimise creasing. | |
|
| |
| NEVER SWITCH THE DRYER ‘OFF’ WITH A HOT LOAD IN THE DRUM. | |
| YOU MUST TERMINATE EVERY PROGRAMME WITH THE COOL TUMBLE | |
|
| OR FRESH AIR PHASE. |
