5.Gently push down on the battery door until it snaps into place.

To remove the battery, complete the following steps:

1.Save your files.

2.If the AC adapter is not connected, turn off your Notebook.

3.Turn your Notebook bottom side up and slide the Battery Release Switch on the underside of your Notebook outward. Lift up the battery door.

4.Slide the battery out of the battery compartment.

✎Note The battery door will not close easily if the battery is inserted incorrectly.
