Installing the HP JetAdmin Software

If the HP JetAdmin software was included on your printer’s CD-ROM, see your printer documentation for installation instructions.

If you are installing from the HP JetDirect CD-ROM, use the following installation instructions.

Note

Three installation options are available:

●Network Printing installs the HP JetDirect Port Monitor software.

●Network Printing and Status installs the

HP JetDirect Port Monitor and Desktop Status software.

●Network Printing & Management installs

HP JetAdmin, HP JetDirect Port Monitor, and Desktop Status software.

1.Insert the CD-ROM into the CD-ROM drive.

2.Use Windows Explorer to browse the CD. Locate Setup.exe in the following subdirectory:

■Jetadmin/Win95_98/<XX>/Disk1

where <XX> is a language in which HP JetAdmin is provided.

3. Run Setup.exe and follow the instructions on the screen.
