Configuring primary and recovery packages as modular packages using 3PAR Remote Copy
When using HP 3PAR Remote Copy in Continentalclusters, the primary and recovery packages must be created using the dts/cc3parrc module. To use this module, Metrocluster with 3PAR Remote Copy must be installed on all nodes in the Continentalclusters.
To configure primary and recovery packages in Continentalclusters when using 3PAR Remote Copy
:
1.Run the following command to create a modular primary or recovery package configuration file using the Continentalclusters module dts/cc3parrc.
# cmmakepkg
2.Edit the following attributes in the pkgName.config file:
•DTS_PKG_DIR
•DC1_NODE_LIST
•DC2_NODE_LIST
•DC1_STORAGE_SYSTEM_NAME
•DC2_STORAGE_SYSTEM_NAME
•DC1_STORAGE_SYSTEM_USER
•DC2_STORAGE_SYSTEM_USER
•DC1_RC_VOLUME_GROUP
•DC2_RC_VOLUME_GROUP

•DC2_RC_TARGET_FOR_DC1
•RESYNC_WAIT_TIMEOUT
•AUTO_NONCURDATA
For more information on these attributes, see “Configuring Modular Packages” (page 322).
3.Validate the package configuration file.

Configuring Continentalclusters Data Sender and Data Receiver Packages as Modular Packages
Data sender and data receiver packages are configured in Continentalclusters recovery groups using custom integration with logical replication technologies. These packages can be configured using the HP Serviceguard modules. No special Continentalclusters modules are required to configure these packages as modular packages.
Configuring Continentalclusters Rehearsal packages as Modular Packages
With Continentalclusters version A.08.00, packages specified as rehearsal packages in recovery groups can be configured as modular packages. These packages normally use all the modules that are used to create the recovery package. However, when using any of the
