IMPORTANT Safety Information

To reduce the risk of serious injury, read the Safety & Comfort Guide. It describes proper workstation setup, posture, and health and work habits for computer users, and provides important electrical and mechanical safety information. This guide is located on the Web at www.hp.com/ergo and on the Thin Client Documentation CD that is included with the product.

To reduce the risk of electric shock or damage to your equipment:

Do not disable the power cord grounding plug. The grounding plug is an important safety feature.

Plug the power cord in a grounded (earthed) outlet that is easily accessible at all times.

Disconnect power from the thin client by unplugging the power cord from the electrical outlet.

For more information, refer to the documentation provided with your product.

Avoiding Possible Audio Issues with the HP MultiSeat Computing Solution

With a multiple-language MultiSeat image on the HP Compaq ms6005/ms6200 Desktop PC, the audio on some HP t150 Thin Clients may fail to work. To avoid this remote possibility, complete the following steps, instead of those shown in the Quick Setup & Getting Started Guide:

1.Connect only the HP Compaq ms6005/ms6200 Desktop PC, monitor, mouse, keyboard, and power cords.

2.Turn on the desktop PC and follow the on-screen instructions to set up and configure the operating system. During the set up of the operating system, the desktop PC will restart one or more times.

3.When the desktop PC configuration is complete, shut down the desktop PC, then connect the thin clients and other optional devices, as shown in the Quick Setup & Getting Started Guide.

4.Turn on the desktop PC. The devices will be enabled automatically and your system will be ready for use.
