4.Insert the SIM card with its gold contacts facing down and its cut-off corner facing out the SIM card slot. Slide the SIM card completely into the slot. Make sure the SIM card goes through the 2 “guides” on the SIM card slot.

5.Close the SIM card holder and then slide it to the direction of “LOCK” (etched on the SIM card holder) to lock it.

Removing the SIM card

1.Remove the back cover. Refer to "Removing the back cover."

2.If the battery is installed, remove the battery. Refer to "Removing the battery."

3.Slide the SIM card holder to the direction of “OPEN” (etched on the SIM card holder), and then flip it open.

4.Pull out the SIM card.

Storage card

Store your pictures, music, and applications in the microSD card that came with your phone.

Inserting the storage card

1.Remove the back cover. Refer to "Removing the back cover."

2.Insert the microSD card into the slot with its gold contacts facing down and push it in until it clicks into place.

2.Push the storage card in to eject it from its slot.

3.Pull out the storage card.

Removing the storage card while the phone is on

When you need to remove the storage card while the phone is on, unmount the storage card first to prevent corrupting or damaging the files in the storage card.

1.Press HOME > MENU, and then tap Settings.

2.Scroll down the screen, and then tap SD card & phone storage.

3.Tap Unmount SD card.

4.Remove the storage card by following the instructions in "Removing the storage card."
