BASSKICK-MANUAL

Congratulations and thank you for purchasing the HUGHES & KETTNER BassKick!

The team of bass players and techs that developed the BassKick amps had three key design goals in mind: they should deliver high quality bass sounds, be very easy to use, and include all the key features working musicians need.

The BassKick 303 amps are ideal for small to medium-sized stages and rehearsal rooms. Their tube-like sound is generated exclusively from solid-state components, utilizing Hughes

&Kettner’s landmark DynaClip circuitry. In contrast to conventional compressors and limiters, DynaClip does not simply limit or reduce the power amp signal, but shapes it, delivering the same kind of response as does an actual tube power amp. This type of compression has a very natural feel, complete with the warm overtones and brilliant transient response you might expect from a high quality tube amplifier.

The SoundMatrix - a sophisticated system of special filters - gives you the tools to dial in the full range of bass sounds today’s players need. This SoundMatrix lets you shape your tone in a more musical and natural manner than even a 32-band graphic equalizer can, and is far easier to operate.

We wish you much enjoyment and success with your new BassKick amp!
