3 Months
Permalife® Filter Calendar: The PERMAlife® Filter indicator is located in the center of the calendar ring. To set the PERMAlife Filter counter, rotate the calendar ring to align the filter symbol (
) with the month that you checked/replaced the filter. Since the filter is designed for 6 months of use, the second indicator (
) will serve as a reminder to clean the filter every 6 months.
If the PERMAlife® filter (
) is checked in February, then the filter would need to be
checked again (
) in August. Figure 5. to check the filter, remove the front grill, Figure 1, and gently remove the Permalife filter from the unit.
NOTE: Remember the orientation of the filter when removing. Your new filter will be inserted in the same manner.
Secure the new filter inside the unit and replace the front grill.

6 Months
Cleaning
NOTE: To avoid the risk of electric shock, the unit should be unplugged before cleaning.
1.Clean the outside of the unit with a soft, damp cloth. The front grill can be cleaned in soapy water after it has been removed from the unit and the
